Galvalume Steel Coils (GL) — Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coated
DANA Steel supplies GL coils (Galvalume / Zincalume Steel Coils) with 55% aluminium zinc (Al-Zn) coating manufactured as per ASTM A792 and AS 1397 standards. These Aluzinc coated steel coils provide superior corrosion resistance, heat reflectivity and longer service life compared to traditional galvanized steel.
Our Galvalume steel coils are widely used in roofing sheets, cladding panels, sandwich panels, PEB structures, steel fabrication and industrial construction projects across UAE, Saudi Arabia, GCC, Africa and export markets. Available in various thicknesses, widths and coating specifications as per project requirements.

Corrosion Performance vs GI
- Rural/Suburban atmospheres: 2–3× longer life than equivalent GI
- Industrial atmospheres: comparable to GI but with better heat and UV resistance
- NOT recommended for direct contact with concrete, mortar, or marine splash zones without additional coating
